Trivia Time

Did you know that Arsenic is actually added to livestock feed to produce higher weight animals and to fight disease?

This was a practice to promote growth and weight gain with less feed. U.S. farmers have fed arsenic to animals since the 1940s. Arsenic helped fight some diseases and aided in tissue and vascular development. But due to its increasing carcinogenic affects fodder containing Arsenic is being fast withdrawn from the markets.
